1. 90 Automatic Weather Stations AWS Network 

​Myanmar ITCZ had installed 90 Automatic Weather Station AWS for the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology in the Bago Division, Ayeyarwaddy Division, Magway Division, Sagaing Division, Chin State and Rakhine State  including remote areas within four months. 

3. Automatic Weather Stations AWS Network for the Shan State GIZ   (15 Stations ) 

​Myanmar ITCZ had installed 15 Automatic Weather Station AWS for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Myanmar) in the Shan State.

4. Radiosonde Upper-Air Observation Stations  (2 Stations)

2. 10 Flood Early Warning Stations FEWS Network  

​Myanmar ITCZ had installed 10 Flood Early Warning Station FEWS for the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology in the Bago Division, Ayeyarwaddy Division, Magway Division, Sagaing Division, Chin State and Rakhine State  including remote areas within four months.

5. Automatic Weather Observation Network (67 Stations)

Number of Stations- Synoptic Stations(46), Agromet Stations(12), Aviation Stations(6), Marine Stations(3)

Starting Date- 24th December 2019

Completion date- Halt in 2021 due to political situation.

This project is based on the Integration of weather observation system of LSI Lastem s.r.l and the forecaster workstation of Corobor Systems. Myanmar ITCZ is the main contractor and the system integrator.

This project is supervised by the United Nations Office for Project Services UNOPS Myanmar and the host is the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Ministry of Transport.

​The name of the project is "Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, Training and Commissioning of 90 Automatic Weather Observation Stations and 10 Flood Early Warning Stations and Forecaster Web Application" and the contract number is UNOPS/MMOC/20275/2017-001.
